Going Nuts

well technically watching other people (The Leningrad Cowboys) going nuts... also check out their other covers... I particularly like Goldfinger because Camp + Camp = Awessomme

I only wish I had the Red Army Choir to back me up every chorus... Also, the big hair and sequinned suits? PROSH. Totally Prosh. Charisma points = 13947823

time
time: precamp poster for hall, 2005

knowing that there is no alarm clock to wake you up is a bliss. no half an hour snoozes just so that you can wake up to continue rushing for submission, no 8am rings to tell you to get to work or class. =)

stone kicking
stone kicking

That indeniable urge to kick that little pebble that sits comfortably in the middle of the pathway, and then watch it follow a projectile motion to a landing (preferably in a straight axis), and then continue lifting it off the ground like a club.
Little joys as you walk down that road.

Some really cute advertisements from Malaysian TV, both aired in conjunction with Independence Day.
Note: the Malay phrases are translations along the way. But it ends off with "kids understand". :)

dog walk
dog walk weekend

One is usually able to tell the level of excitement in the dog's bark, judging its tone of bark and eye contact (and the wag of the tail) to see whether it'll chew your fingers off or lick your hands like they were ice cream sticks. Walking dogs or merely being around them is that thing that makes my crappiest day momentarily joyous or that loneliest day the most blessed.

Looks like the doggie has a bigger self hidden in a small body (Mo's a genius to have pointed that subtle message in this photo)

The providers of 100 happy things are back from the onslaught of submissions and crits!

Yes, this is a perfect song to listen to while next to a fireplace and reading a good book.
Yes, these songs by this artiste makes facing the computer worthwhile, her voice in that semitones and rhythmns of her strumming the guitar.
Thanks mo for introducing this wonderful singer. Her songs have been on loop since I got it and it eases this state of insanity that I'm facing.

current state of mind

The providers of 100 happy things are currently undergoing design crisis in view of RIBA submission. Unless Mo or Lian feels sian in this pool of insane-nia and decides to post a happy thought, be entertained by their current state of mind.

There's a reason why I placed a link to Baby Blues at the top of my list. Go click on it and browse the daily comic strips and let me know if they make you smile.
